Since 2003, Mònica Ortega has worked in the documentation area at the Catalan Sports Council, an entity under the Department of Presidency that plans and implements sports policies at the Generalitat de Catalunya, under the direction of the General Secretary of Sports and Physical Activity. In addition to managing the Sports Library and coordinating the institution’s administrative archive, she also participates in other organizational projects. With a degree in Library Sciences and Documentation (1995) and a degree in Documentation (2004), she has always carried out her professional career as a technician serving the public administrations.
