Doctor in Contemporary History (URV), he holds a Master’s degree in Archival Studies from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and in Cultural Institutions Management from the ESADE. Working as a part the group of high-level archivists at the Generalitat de Catalunya, he was the Director of the Tarragona Province Historical Archives from 1992 to 2004, and for the past fifteen years, has been the Head of the Municipal Archives and Records Service at Tarragona City Council. He is President of the Camp de Tarragona Group of Historical and Social Studies and Technical Director for the Committee on Memory Programs at Tarragona City Council.
